Bastien grew up on the outskirts of Paris, in a french-malagasy family.
He started working in advertising at 19, as an Assistant Art Director at Publicis Paris. He became Creative Director at 25 under the mentorship of Erik Vervroegen. He has since gone on to work in San Francisco and New York at TBWA and Droga5.
He’s earned more than 150 international awards from all major festivals including Cannes Lions (x32), D&AD, ADC, OneShow, Grand Clios and Clio agency of the year, Eurobest Grand Prix, New York Festivals Grand Prix and Agency of the year.
Cannes Lions, The Drum, and The Gunn Report ranked him in the Top 10 Best Art Directors worldwide, 3 years in a row. He’s served as a jury member at the OneShow and New York Festivals.
He’s most grateful for having crossed the paths of passionate and talented people.
